ABOUT CAPE TOWN
One of the top tourism cities in the world, you will find plenty to do and see in and around Cape Town while you are on standby for a swim. In fact, it is advisable to set aside a couple of extra days anyway, during which you can visit the world-famous Table Mountain, Robben Island, V&A Waterfront, some of the world's most amazing beaches, and so much more!
Please follow the links to our favourite Cape Town websites, and feel free to contact us in order to receive more information or traveling advice.

It is advisable to rent a car when you arrive in Cape Town, as the public transport system is not up to international standards.
TRAINING WHILE IN CAPE TOWN
If you are traveling to Cape Town to attempt an Atlantic Ocean (Robben Island or Cape Point) swim, it would be advisable to do all your training in the ocean. Camps Bay beach is perfect for this, as visibility is good, the water is normally calm, and cold. It is however never advisable to swim on your own - if you do not have someone to paddle next to you, we can provide a paddler to accompany you @ R500 per session.
For distance / pool sessions, the Sea Point Pavilion is the perfect venue.
