OPEN WATER SWIMMING IN CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA

CAPE SWIMS	WOMEN'S DAY SWIM - 10 August 2008 A fun relay swim, with the aim of raising funds in order to treat 100 Cerebral Palsy Women to the Artscape Production "BeautyFull", which is being produced especially for Women's Day and for Cerebral Palsy Ladies. The sponsorship would include the ticket, valued at R65.00 each, as well as a small gift pack and a light snack. DATE: Sunday 10 August 2008 TIME: Registration 9AM Race starts at 10AM PLACE: Camps Bay Beach COST: Each team will be required to raise R1/2m swum, i.e. R1000 per relay team Payment on site WINNER TAKES ALL! First prize: R2000 THE SWIM: The race will be open to relay teams only Each team can have maximum 4 members There will be a buoy 250m off the beach and each swimmer will swim there and back, i.e. 500m. Each team will swim 4 x 500m = 2000m Each 2 meters costs R1.00 There are no restrictions on teams mix, gender, age, height, IQ, EQ or look.
